Time: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Ages 8–14 | $25
Inspired by Picasso’s iconic abstract portraits, this hands-on workshop invites participants to explore identity and creativity through a playful, cubist lens. Designed for students ages 8-14 years old.
Using only cut paper and colored pencils, students will construct imaginative self-portraits that emphasize shape, color, and expression over realism. We’ll take a close look at how Picasso broke apart and reassembled the human face to create something entirely new—and then apply those ideas to our own artwork.
This is a fun, approachable project for all skill levels taught by one of Spiva’s instructors, Ciera West.
Sign ups close Wednesday, June 4th at 11:30 pm.
